I used 1 unsmoked gammon joint
2 litres coke (not diet)
1 carrot peeled sliced
1 celery stick chopped
1 onion quartered
1 bay leaf
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 teaspoon peppercorns
Put the gammon in slow cooker cover with the cola add all the other ingredients
Put on low for 5 1/2 hours
Take out the gammon and let cool, pour the cola away
Heat oven to 170 d fan oven
Glaze ingredients
150ml. Maple syrup
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
Pinch of Chinese five spice
Take of the fat, leaving a layer of fat score and pour half the glaze over the fat, put in oven for 15 minutes
Take out the oven and pour over the rest of the glaze.
