Slow cooked brisket

Slow cooked brisket with homemade rub and bbq sauce
Homemade honey corn bread muffins
Parmesan thyme new baby potatoes 
Mac and cheese
Baked beans 
Green beans
Sweet corn 

Recipe for brisket: 

Rub: 
2 tbs paprika 
2 tbs black pepper
2 tbs chili powder 
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs garlic powder
2 tsp cumin 
2 tsp salt 

Mix; rub on all sides of brisket and let sit overnight 

BBQ sauce: 
14oz crushed tomatoes 
1 chopped sweet onion 
1/4 cup Worcestershire 
1/4 cup white wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
2 tbs honey 
2 (or more) tbs cholula hot sauce 

Place ingredients for BBQ sauce in bottom of slow cooker. Brisket on top, cook on low for 8 hours. Flip twice while cooking.
